Scott Mann

Picked up his first roleplaying game in the early 80s upon discovering his cousin’s collection of Dungeons and Dragons adventure modules. In 1989 Scott sat down in his friend’s basement to play Dungeons and Dragons for the first time and has been avidly playing RPGs and board games every since.

During these years he’s written a number of homebrew settings and hacked together rules for his favorite games. He’s also writing a pair of 

For a decade between the early 00s and 10s, Scott was an independent bookseller specializing in rare and hard-to-find TTRPGs. He still regrets selling his complete sets of TORG, Rolemaster, WEG d6 Star Wars, and Dangerous Journeys.

Permaneo Press

Began with a call to Navi and Shawn Drake of A Couple of Drakes. Scott was looking to finally write and publish his own games and needed some advice.  As the call was wrapping up, the conversation turned towards editing and media training—freelance work Scott performed in the past—and whether or not there was a need for these skills and services in the boardgame and TTRPG community.

A few days and tweets after that call those suspicions were confirmed and Permaneo Press launched.
